    The new »elements rund«

skantherm's successful »elements« modular system will be extended by the introduction of a round variant. The timeless combustion chamber, with its curvaceous 180° door, forms the core of the new »elements rund«, offering a perfect view of the dancing flames inside. In keeping with the familiar modular principle of the »elements« series, the appearance of the stove can be arranged individually in a multitude of different ways with boxes above, below and at the side of the combustion chamber. The boxes can be arranged vertically and horizontally to serve as furnishings such as seats or also practical storage compartments, to keep logs for example.  The fact that the boxes can now also be mounted on the wall makes the »elements rund« even more flexible. This allows them to act as sideboards or shelves.
As with the entire "elements" product family, with »elements rund« flue and fresh air pipes can also be laid through the boxes (including boxes hanging on walls) to hide the fireplace connections in the living room. Complicated interior design challenges thus become a matter of child's play.
With the introduction of the round variant, the »elements« system, added to the existing corner glass, front and tunnel models, now offers all fireplace shapes for which there is a demand in the market. skantherm managing director Benedikt Wagner: "With our extensions to the »elements« system, we are offering the end consumer even more scope for creative design. But it was important for us that, amid the huge variety, the system remains simple and easy to understand. So all of the dimensions have been designed in such a way that the boxes are compatible with all models."

skantherm extends its range of body colours and offers now the elegant colour “platinum” for many stoves models.

The stove colour “platinum” is optionally available for the models ator, ator+, beo, elements, emotion s, emotion m, merano, merano xl, solo and solo 2.0.
The change of body colour from deep black to platinum is also possible for all combustion chamber variants of the popular modular system elements, as from the classical elements with corner glass, the elements 603 Front, the elements 400 Front and to the elements 603 Tunnel.

The colour “platinum” fits very well in light living environments. In small as well as in larger rooms, stoves in platinum have a subtle but effective appearance.

    Novelties for the »elements system«

With three new combustion chamber variants, the award-winning »elements« system, which has been developed together with the renowned designer Prof. Wulf Schneider & Partner, now offers even more flexibility. The new »elements 603 Front« is a classy combustion chamber with a straight front glass in an elegant steel look and with best heat storage capacities. Thanks to the optional 400 kg thermostone storage module, the heat can be stored for a long time. The spacious combustion chamber offers an optimum view to the flames and an easy filling of logs up to 50 cm.
With its distinctive linear design, the small version, the new »elements 400 Front« perfectly sets the fire in scene and is also rotatable by 90°.
Stylishly by both sides: with its attractive design the »elements 603 Tunnel« is especially suited as an elegant partition staging the fire of both sides. The generously proportioned glass gives an unique view of the flames. Innovative detail: all variants of the combustion chamber have a glass pane which is flush-integrated into the door frame (protected technology).

The modular stove system »elements« receives the second place of the steel innovation award, in the category “steel-design”. During a festive award ceremony in Berlin the prize was handed over by the Federal Research Minister Professor Johanna Wanka. With »elements«, skantherm successfully managed to “make steel livable” and “to place it in a comfortable environment”, as per the highprofile jury, to which personalities from the fields of economy, research, architecture and design belongs to. »elements« stands out with its clear design language and extraordinary flexibility, which the modular system makes possible.

With »elements« we successfully created in 2013 an innovation which is still unique on the market. The modern look of steel in combination with the warming source of fire sets, besides its endless creative freedom, an exciting contrast to the interior design. That´s why we are especially pleased to receive this award of the jury of experts”, so managing director Benedikt Wagner.

A chimney stove manufacturer presenting "brand-new” reports may not be surprising. It may be different, however, in case of the global novelty »elements«: a comfortable chimney stove with adjacent sitting area, a fireplace in modern sideboard looks or classically as a room divider or corner chimney stove – no matter how different the wishes and options of its owners may be, the new chimney stove »elements« by skantherm will find the perfect solution for sure. Due to its simple construction kit system, »elements« may be combined in any manner from only three cubic modules: simply place the combustion chamber where you want it, and put together two box modules anywhere you like. This creates compartments for firewood, benches and decoration elements that leave nothing to be desired.
